Reception decoration help!?

So my wedding colors are champagne bridesmaids dresses with fall reds, oranges, yellows, browns for the flowers and reception. I am confused with what to do with the tables. The banquet facility is giving us a mirror, hurricane lamp and base for tealights. What should I put around it? The table clothes are white, but I can pick the color of napkins and am leaning toward tan. I bought large glass stones that look like diamonds to scatter around the table, but what else?

I thought maybe rose petals in the colors above or more glass beads in the fall colors.

Reception decoration help!?
I think your idea is good enough. Too much stuff on the table will look too cluttered and messy. I'd stick with the tan napkins so they'll kind of match the champagne dresses. If they're nothing alike i'd go w/ a dark red or a color of one of the flowers.
Reply:Fall leaves maybe?
Reply:You can make wreathes to go around the hurricane lamps ... Styrofoam wreaths @ Michelles or Hobby Lobby %26amp; use the fall colors (leaves, flowers) to decorate the wreathes ... silk or 'fake' flowers will be cheaper than live flowers.

As for the napkins, don't go w/ tan ... BORING!!! Use the fall red or orange. That'd be so cute %26amp; just pop on the white table cloth.
Reply:I think the ideas you have for your tables are enough. If you put anything else it might look cluttered. I was at a wedding last year and they had the most wonderful item on the place settings. It was a personalized artificial ivory rose and a scroll say how special we where to the bride and groom. It was a really nice detail and it made my husband and i feel very honored to be there.
Reply:I know it doesn't sound great, but I went to a wedding that used dried flower arrangements and they looked really effective. The browny/pastally colours may work quite well with your colour scheme? I think Champagne (or tan as you suggested) napkins would look lovely.

Sorry - couldn't really find a good picture of anything - but maybe have a look at this site at the dried flowers...

Reply:What about centerpieces? I didn't know if you had smaller tables for guests, but you could incorporate a fall look with your centerpieces. I saw a few designs where brides bought clear glass bowls from a craft store and either filled it with water and floating fall leaves or water and citrus pieces( limes, lemons, oranges). Both were really pretty. You could also scatter the leaves on the table tops. Another idea is to get glass hurricane type vases and wrap small christmas lights and ivy leaves, fall leaves in the bottom. you could put the clear glass stones on top of that to give off a pretty glow.

Candles are also a good idea and are super cheap. I included some pictures of ideas below :)

Hope that helps, this site has TONS of ideas to help you out.

Best of luck!
Reply:You could scatter stones or petals in your wedding colors around the candles. I wouldn't use different colored napkins because it will detract from your centerpiece.
Reply:I would leave as is... sounds beautiful. If you put too much stuff on the tables, it's hard for guests to have enough room to eat!
Reply:Instead of the diamonds, why don't you buy stick wreaths? You can get them at any craft store and they are made solely of sticks to give an autunmal, rustic look. They can surround the hurricane lamps and that's all you'd need for something simple, elegant, and appropriate for your theme. Since orange and red and vibrant colors, you may not want to go overboard on the centerpieces. (Also, I figured that the glass stones would be too much for the tables, but they could always go in the water under the tea lights.)
Reply:What about some nice fall leaves? Or maybe you can get some mini pumpkins, cranberries, leaves, rose petals and scatter them on the table.
Reply:Instead of tan napkins, I would select one of the fall colors you are using in the flowers. I would then scatter fall colored leaves around for the base of the centerpieces.
Reply:Dried leaves or pumpkins would be good table decorations. I got some mini pumpkins and gourds from Oriental Trading Co to scatter on some of my tables.

You could mix and match your napkins to give the tables a little "pop" - use your colors everywhere.
