My wedding colors are latte(light brown)and ivory/champagne...I'm fair skinned. Any flower suggestions? :)

My wedding is in early September and I love the fall colors. I need Ideas for flowers and decorations for my wedding. The ceremony is outside with a reception inside. I am trying to keep the tones of ivory, latte, champagne and warm tones. I am very fair skinned and I dont want to be drowned out with pale flowers. I think i need color but i dont know whether to go with rustic colors to match the browns or pinks to add some pop. Any help is appreciated along with ideas for centerpieces. I have to decorate a gazebo and an aisleway. I have strawberry blonde hair also so I want to make sure my colors flow and dont clash.

you could do deep brown mums to offset the latte with cream accents and greens for the tables....your bouquet could have creams and burgandy flowers or maybe a cranberry color?
Reply:I think pinks/peach will work nicely...will still give it that late summer/early fall feeling. Gerber daisies might work, or they really have roses in any color these days--that's my idea of wedding glam. I know cost may be a concern, but just talk with your florist and show her a color pallette and he/she should be able to offer you some awesome and probably seasonal options that will really be unique (I got married in August and had bluey-purple hydrangeas that were just awesome...think they came out of somebody's yard!). Good luck and best wishes.
Reply:an off white rose with ribbon to have each one carry and you carry bouquet of them
Reply:run
Reply:What about cream Vendella roses with white stephanotis and champagne roses; then just for some color add some red sweetheart roses throughout the boquet to add a touch of color.
Reply:how about a bright orange or red, like you would find in the trees that time of year. that would be beautiful.....I love fall colors and you cannot go wrong with those color combinations.
Reply:I would go with white, coral, and vibrant pink tones. It would give everything a little pop, without looking off.

Of course, you could just have the same colors for flowers, but have LOTS of greenery. Green will make the red in your hair be more vibrant, and it won't clash. But I wouldn't worry TOO much about the colors against your hair. I have strawberry blonde hair as well, and my wedding colors were pomegranate and plum and I wore an ice pink dress (looked GREAT with my skin tone!).

Good luck and congratulations!
Reply:You sound exactly like me! I also am fair-skinned with reddish hair, and I am planning very similar colors for a fall wedding. I definitely suggest a warm pink, with orange/peach undertones. The coral pink color will give a nice pop to the other neutral tones, but without washing out your complexion. Don't go with cool colors (blue, green, etc) because that will just make your skin look even whiter. A shade of red is pretty much the only cool color that wouldn't wash you out because it can have both warm and cool undertones, but if you're like me you might not like the red with brown (though with the ivory/champagne it could work). Good luck with the rest of your planning -- I'm sure it will be beautiful!
Reply:Being that all the colors so far are earth tones, I would go for lively colors as accessories. Congratulations by the way.
Reply:I have no training in this, but have you thought about violets? I read your description and thought 'violets' right off. It might be nice to have a contrasting color, and I would think they'd go nice. Of course, I don't know whether they'd be available, and I'd check to see if they go with the other main things...but I think you do want to do something somewhat dramatic with the flowers.

But that's just me. Your day, your call, but violets is my idea
Reply:Hi - we have the same wedding month and the same colors! I'm using latte, espresso and ivory - my maids are wearing those colors and my decor is already in those shades. As for flowers, since I think dark flowers would be too much and too somber, I'm keeping them simple - using calla lillies. I'm going to incorporate the colors by using espresso silk wraps on the bouquets. For the tables I'm using votives and hurricanes set on mirrors and will use tree branches soaked in ice crystal. The chairs for the reception (indoor) are already a latte color so I'll use espresso tulle to wrap and bow them, however the chairs in the ceremony room are hideous! They are red and brown so I'm using covers that I'll rent from an event store. Not certain what color yet, because I think espresso will be over powering. At anyrate, I think you could get away with using your colors entirely for the ceremony and reception and calla lillies definitely won't clash with your skin or hair. Good luck and congrats.
Reply:well you can get some vine flowers and wrap them around the poles of the gazebo. You can get the white flowers on the vines and not too many will do perfect, just enough to dress it up a little.

And pink would look nice I think.

and for the isle you could do some tulle and bunch up and leave some hanging on the rows of chairs.

that was how we did mine, it was outside and it was lovely

for centerpieces use the glass bowls with floater candles and tie a bow with your color ribbon on it. I hope you have the wedding of your dreams.
Reply:How about a peach color flowers with double baby's breath, and carnations, and of course some greenery. If your really not sure I would ask the florist that's doing your flowers. Tell them the colors in your wedding they can help on a color flower.
Reply:a good color (because I'm thinking the same color dresses) is an orangy calla lillies...

check out orchids too they have some nice colors
