I doubt that the red in the reception will match. what colors could the sashes in the chairs be. the napkins and flowers for the centerpieces

What color matches with a champagne wedding dress.?
You can still use red, adjust the hue. Have a deeper richer color red, like brick. I allways tell my brides to be the only "headliner" in champagne/white/ivory. For linens, chair covers use the opposite color (red). Then use a metalic for accents ( napkins, sashes) Use Ivory rimmed in gold for plates, gold chargers. You can even have goldtone cutlery.

Have your flowers on the tables be in champagnes, golds, and add plenty of texture. For the girls use the neutral and golds for flowers and for your bouquet use reds.
Reply:gold would be beautiful with a champagne color wedding dress!
Reply:Red most certainly does go with champagne. Latte or brown would look good with it too.
Reply:Red should be OK with Champagne -- think strawberries and champagne. But, you might want to go more of a burgundy red than an orange-red.

Another good color would be chocolate -- Almost any color could work -- coral, aqua are other possible choices.
Reply:A royal blue would be pretty. I wore a champagne embroidered dress and had candles and irises on the tables.

Good luck!
Reply:To tell you the truth, when I saw your question - before I opened it up and saw the rest of what you wrote, my first impression was that red would be pretty with the champagne dress. I guess it would just depend on what color red you choose.
Reply:I thought red before I even opened the rest of the question.
Reply:RED apple red oh that would look so nice.
Reply:Brown
Reply:pearls, deep reds, light greens, browns, gold

congratulations :)
Reply:I would go with a deep berry or wine color. Still in the reds family and it very elegant looking with champagne. You could easily follow with champagne colors at the reception with the deep berry or wine. The centerpieces could be variety of flowers, check to see what is the best in season. Or go with just plenty of candles and rose petals scattered on the tables. Very simple yet stunning.
