Spring wedding...need good ideas!!!?

It will be Spring time in a garden setting. Wedding will be afternoon/early evening %26amp; reception will be in the evening. I have no colors picked out, no flowers picked out, no ideas for decorations, etc. Help!!!

Spring wedding...need good ideas!!!?
how about purple and yellow flowers with lots of greenery... those colors make me think of spring... and you could even do accents of terra cotta.

I was actually in a drugstore the other day and they had tiny little terra cotta pots with candles poured into them. They could be really cure as favors with a raphia bow tied around it in your wedding colors.
Reply:I like pastel colors for a spring wedding. The colors I suggest are pinks, sage or celedon, lavendar, light yellow etc. Here's a few photos to help you decide. Good Luck and Congrats.

Reply:maybe a butterfly release- that would be really pretty and fitting for the season. try lots of fresh wildflowers in bright colors, if you like bright, that is. pastels always work well for spring weddings though.
Reply:I like color combinations like a very pale almost icy looking iridescent blue would go so well with creams, ivorys and gold colors.

I also like the combination of pale green with pale pink...especially peonies and roses for flowers because they are very soft looking.

Another good combination for more color with flowers is orange, peach, tangerine any kind of orangey hued flowers you can find...like Mango colored calla lilies...then along with a puch of bright pink maybe for the bridal bouquet or the bridesmaids dresses.

I am doing spring. If I get the white dress (I have narrowed it down to two dresses) then I and am actually using black for the bridesmaids dresses, but they will carry red flowers (mixture of roses, daisies) wrapped with a ribbon in tiffany blue. My tableclothes will be tiffany blue with red roses as the place settings and the wedding cake will be red and tiffany blue.

If I get the gold dress I am going to go with the icy blue dresses and probably cream, white, and pale pink peonies and roses for flowers..along with gold ribbon and accents.
Reply:If your doing a garden theme, why don't you order a bunch or orange butterflies in little boxes (that is possible because my aunt did it for her wedding) and pass them to all your guests. Have them let them free when whoevers doing your ceremony says you may now kiss the bride
Reply:i like peridot from davids bridal. its slightly darker than it appears on the website though
Reply:Lots and lots of daisies for springtime. You can get them in a rainbow of colors. Since it's spring, put the flowers in pretty wicker baskets up and down the aisle. Use soft pastel colors, and get some fake butterflies to put in with the flowers. Maybe have a butterfly-themed cake. For decorations you can use balloons and streamers in pastel colors, as well as little white christmas lights. Get some tall candles in different pastel colors that you can put around at the reception. Scatter daisy petals all over the tables, and give everyone bubbles to blow instead of throwing rice or birdseed.
Reply:Since it's a spring theme wedding how about spring colors like soft colors like light pinks, yellow, baby blue, orange, ect heres a web on how to help you with your wedding planning

Reply:Elope and save the money for a house. Fancy weddings may be dreamy but they are a waste of money!
