Invitations For A Vegas Wedding...?

any ideas for wording, I know not everyone I invite will be able to make it, I was wondering how do I word the invitations, I was thinking something like, Please join us as we say "I DO" etc. etc and then some reference to the chapel {Little Chapel of the Flowers} in Las Vegas ~ We are planning on having a large reception when we return perhaps in a week or two of the actual wedding...How should the reception invite be worded {I guess that would be easier}; PLEASE HELP, I dont even know if I'm asking the right questions....!

Invitations For A Vegas Wedding...?
We married and had our reception in Vegas because enough could attend there, so I´m not going to be any help.

You picked a GREAT chapel, and remember, they will play the music you want during your ceremony, but their machine might not play burned music, so get original music. Be sure to also call them and schedule a consolation before the wedding so you can go over items, and they will even show you the chapel so you´ll get your bearings. We wed in the Victorian Chapel because this was our favorite.
Reply:I'd just do the regular type invitations. make it elegant other than tacky. you can get the invitation kits at the store and print them off yourselves. look online for the kind of wording you want.

We had a Vegas wedding - our's said "Bet on a Sure Thing"

and "watch as we roll the dice" and stuff like that...

Just be creative!

Good Luck!
Reply:My brother got married in Vegas and then had a Reception a few weeks after they got home. They didn't send out invitations. Everyone was invited by word of mouth. The reception was decorated in VEGAS STYLE it had cards and dice and all kinds of fun stuff like that.
Reply:my husband and i got married at the flamingo hotel in vegas in march. we only sent out a few invitations that were worded like this. "the happy couple are running to vegas to get married, if you would like spend your vacation time with us we are getting married march 25th at 2:30pm the flamingo chapel" when we returned we sent out our reception invitations that said "the happy couple ran to vegas and got married, please come celebrate our marriage with us at our reception/bar-b-que" then put the date and time and that it was an outside affair so please dress casual. it worked for us. have a great time in vegas and congrats on getting married!!!

  1. These are excellent tips on wedding invitations. Last month, I made amazing DIY invitations for my sister’s wedding which was arranged at one of the graceful wedding venues nyc. Al l appreciated my arrangements too.
