I need centerpieces for the reception tables. Looking for inexpensive ideas that I don't have to create (something I can just buy). Don't want flowers.

How about a huricane lamp or tall pillar candles surrounded by grape leaves. Depending on your colors you could also do mini pumpkins or ghords and sprinkle the table with colorful leaves.

OR i saw this somewhere and it was nice but you'd have to "prepare it" buy fish bowls and put water and maybe some pebbles and put one fish in each bowl and that's your center piece. people can take the fish bowls and the fish home with them if they wanted..
Reply:Weeelll, since it is october, red, orange, and yellow leaves with red apples would be beautiful. Sounds strange, but it was used at my moms wedding.
Reply:You could buy cornucopias, squash, pumpkins, or candles. They are all inexpensive and don't require much prep.
