Spring Wedding Ideas?

I am getting married on June 6th, 2009 in an outdoor wedding. Our reception will be held inside....anyways, I will have a matron of honor and two bridesmaids and he will have his best man and two groomsmen. I thought that it would be cute to have two flower girls and two ring bears. The youngest girl will be a little over two and the boy will be three. The older couple will be around 10/12. Would this be silly and should i just do two kids?

Also, since we are going to be outside around 5pm I wanted to wear gloves, my dress is halter and is very long. Would this look ok or should I just forget that too. I really like the idea!

i think that gloves would look great!!!! i love gloves i think they add alot to your look, but your ring may not fit over your glove and you will want to show off the BLING.. haha

I think that you should have 2 flower girls and 2 ringbears

-or-

you could have the older set be jr bridesmaid and a jr groomsmen too...

Either way, you could pull it off..

CONGRADS!!! Best of Luck
Reply:Hey Kathryn, I forgot to mention, my sister in law is getting married April 19, 2008 and she has a 2 1/2 year old and she is walking down with her daughter and her dad. That is an idea that you could think about too.. Report It

Reply:I had 3 flower girls and 2 ring bearers, you can do whatever you want to. If you are providing all the outfits, you should consider if you have all 4 in your budget. I would try on gloves while wearing the dress, I would even go so far as to have someone take a picture and then decide.
Reply:The gloves and the dress are an excellent idea!

As for having two flower girls and two ring bearers, I think that is a fabulous idea! Holding hands walking down the aisle or each of them walking down side by side throwing rose pettals would be adorable.

Good luck and congrats! I hope your wedding is everything you want it to be!

Edit: I was re-reading your question. Ages 10/12 for flower girls/ring bearers? That is not normally the case. Usually at that age, the girls would be Junior Bridesmaids and the boys would be Junior Groomsmen. After all, you don't want them feeling like little kids do you?

Maybe what you could do is have the older ones be the juniors, but still walk down the aisle(holding flowers or as for the boy holding nothing)hand in hand with the younger one.

Again, good luck and congrats!
Reply:Sounds good, go with what makes you happy, it's your day after all!
Reply:Two ring bearers are normally the case but they can work fine...My fiancee is a having a Junior Bridesmaid and I am sure a Junior Groomsmen would be a nice touch if it is something you might consider. But it is your day.

Oh and the gloves are a great touch...I love that idea.
