Beach Wedding in PA?
Here are some links to pictures on www.theknot.com that might give you some ideas. They also have pictures of beach themed wedding cakes. They helped me for my beach themed wedding table decorations. The web site was a great help with planning my wedding.

Our centerpieces are a glass hurricane vase filled with sand and seashells and those colored glass marbles and we'll put a picture of us getting married on the beach coming out of the sand...good luck to you!
Reply:www.orientaltrading.com. that is where I got all my stuff and they are inexpensive. good luck to you.
Reply:We did a beach wedding last sept. For centerpieces I was able to find some great hurricane candle holders and we put sand, shells and candles. Check pier 1 imports clearence section. I got all my holders (the holder, glass, rocks and candles for $4.00)

We did seashells candies as favors (very easy to make yourself) For the beach we got an arch and decorated it with flowers
Reply:If you are looking for elegant look at the first website.

Those have helped me, the one pops out, is the knot. it has links to many pages out there.

Lots of luck, best wishes !
Reply:you could try buying small fish bowls from the dollar store fill the bottom w/colored sand and seashells. then fill 1/2 way with water and blue food coloring. add floating candles. try useing fishing net from craft store for effect.
Reply:If PA stands for Pennsylvania, I hope you're getting married along Lake Erie, because that's the closest thing to a beach you'll find here :)

Here's a link for beach-themed centerpieces that cost $10.53 each to make. They're basically a mini beach in a bucket.

Here's instructions for making easy-but-pretty sand candles that would be nice favors at the reception. Have your bridesmaids help you make them as a way for them to bond with each other :)

...or, if you'd rather make sand candle holders and buy the candles to put in them, here's instructions for that:

...or, if you do want to make sand candles and have a lot of old crayons to get rid of...

For decorating the wine glasses at the reception (and helping everyone identify which one is theirs), go to a craft store and buy some beach-themed buttons, some beads, and some wire. String a beach button and some beads onto a bit of wire, wind it around the stem of a wine glass, and snip off the ends and turn them under so they're not sharp and poke-y.

If you'd rather just buy them (six for $18.95), there's a beautiful set of beached themed charms here:

Special ice cube trays can help your beach theme for $4.95 each:

Also, when I lived in Taiwan there was a dessert called sandy ice or milk ice that we ate all the time. It's made by putting a big pile of shaved ice (or shaved milk ice) on a plate and topping it with fruits and fruit syrups. This is a more elegant version of the snow cone, and it's probably the beach-theme equivalent of a chocolate fountain (as far as fun desserts go).

Reply:When I went to a wedding, there were lots of balloons. I think u should buy balloons. If u want to buy a wedding dress then go to http://www.dresses.com/store.htm. Also, if u want to buy sandels then go to http://clothing.pricegrabber.com/womens-... Go to stores and buy flowers and put it on the table to make it look nice.
Reply:Sorry this isn't an answer, but I was just wondering how to get information about doing a wedding on erie beach. As in, how can you find out how to reserve a spot or who to contact, etc. I was hoping maybe someone here would know. Thanks!
