What are some other good colors for a fall wedding that go with light blue/silver colors?

My dress is ivory and my fiance wants a very light blue-almost silvery color for his vest/tie under the tuxedo. Our wedding is this October and we also want to incorporate fall colors into everything. We decided on light blue for the bridesmaid dresses and flowers but what are some other colors that would go with this and tie into the fall theme? We are thinking about using pumpkins as part of the reception decor. Help! :)

What are some other good colors for a fall wedding that go with light blue/silver colors?
You could use shades of orange, creamy whites, and copper in the flowers--would be striking against silver blue. Dahlias, mums, garden roses, freesia, tiger lilies will be available seasonally then.
Reply:Your fiancee needs to go to different colors because light blue is not going to make it. Ivory is fine. Your brides maids should wear dresses that look like autumn leaves. Shades of gold, orange, brown. Their bouquets should be various shades of mums. They should have green velvet hats covered with Autumn leaves and a few mums of different colors. I think your fiance would do better with a Tuxedo (black or brown) or a dinner jacket, (Ivory colored Jacket) Black pants. Blue has nothing to do with fall, it would be more a spring wedding. Also, If you are not going to have a christian wedding, I think the pumpkins are a great idea. But If you are going to have a Christian wedding, please be aware that pumpkins are a part of the pagan ritual. You could change that to horns of plenty and autumn leaves.
Reply:I would say that if you want to incorporate pumpkins into your decorating, then you need a warmer colour like chocolate brown (just an example) to bring it all together. You might not like something as bright as red or orange because it will tend to overpower the blue and silver.

If you didn't want something as deep as the chocolate brown, perhaps you'd be more interested in a shade of green - just don't choose a shade that is too light because it will cause your wedding decor to look "washed out."

Good luck with your planning -- your colour scheme so far sounds beautiful and unique for an autumn wedding!
Reply:First off, congrats on your upcoming wedding. I think the pumpkins would be a nice touch to the decor. That being the case, you might want to add some orange or a rust color.
Reply:Ok cool. Blue and peach.

Blue and purple

I am doing light blue, and cream, bronze (latte)??

Blue and lime green

Blue and orange go too. Saw them together look awesome.
Reply:Gold, orange and red would off set the cool colors and bring a sense of fall to the decor.
Reply:Fall colors will not go with silver and blue
Reply:Orange could be pretty or brown
