Need help decorating for our wedding reception!?

Our colors are black and fuschia and will be getting married in June this year! We are both stuck on how to decorate. We have already bought ivy bowls, votive candles and holders and glass stones to put on the tables. We are stuck with centerpieces. He wants balloons since the hall has huge ceilings. I want flowers, but can handle balloons if we find the right picture. What do you think?

In this link below, we are doing something similar to this but more elegant then what it is shown. Do you think we need balloons on the tables if we already have this?

Honestly I am not a fan of balloons at weddings.

I would rather see a room filled to the brim with candles and 1 exotic flower on each table.

The worst thing you can do is over decorate a wedding venue...in my opinion.
Reply:I would find tall glass square vases, and fill them with fuschia or pink glass stones (look like pebbles) that can be found at a craft store. And do a black table cloth, i think fuschia table cloths might be a little bright in the room.

Maybe find some little votive holders to go around the vase.
Reply:Balloons on the table would be overkill. You should opt for something simple with a fuschia punch of color for your tables...like a glass bowl with fuschia orchids heads floating in water (any flower that color) added to the candles and glass stones would be gorgeous. Congrats!
Reply:use glass bowls or vases with some of the stones in the bottom and water and put floating candles in, dont use balloons in as it will look cheap
Reply:Don't worry about the balloons just get rid of the posters on the walls!
Reply:No balloons
