I am looking for pretty green flowers to use to decorate my wedding and reception. The gowns are apple green.?

I would like to mix two different greens together for the decorations. Are there any suggestions?

Instead of green flowers I would suggest going with an ivory or pale yellow/green flower. I think using a brighter green would just be overkill. You can accent the flowers with matching green ribbon to keep with the theme. You can use green tulle inside the vases, or green decorative rocks in the vases on the tables. I think this would be mushc prettier since green can be such a strong color.

Reply:I know this isn't quite what you asked, but I think green with green will get lost, and you should use some other color to show off both the flowers and the dresses ("make it pop"). Consider orange or cream.

Reply:My dresses will be hunter green and I am going to have (hopefully) Calla lilies with a green wrap around the stem to tie in the green.

Reply:Sounds pretty but do you think that's too much green? How about mixing it with other colors? When our niece got married last June, she have victorian lilac and mst of the flowers were purple, even her bouquet but in the reception area the florist mix purple flowers w/ white and alittle bit of green for the leaves.
