What is the normal expense & amount of flowers required @ a small wedding (40pp) with bride & 4 bridesmaids?

It will be an outside wedding with indoor reception, the property has two big beautiful gardens, a creek running by and the lodge is hand-milled %26amp; built with big stone fireplace (rustic, quaint, but very nice) so I do not feel it warrants a lot of flowers/decorations but should the weather not co-operate it would be nice to have some other than the bouquets for indoors.

My advice to my brides is set a budget! It's not how many but, rather how much invested. You can never have too many flowers!! If your budget is tight, get silks and/or potted bloomers. These can easily be moved around if the weather changes on you. If you are using a florist, tell them your budget. They always have good suggestions. Your friends and family may have access to blooming flowers in their yards that they wouldn't mind cutting for you.Good luck!
Reply:Depends on the reception, and the cost of flowers. The 2 biggest expenses.
Reply:If you wanted center pieces also, I would say no more than $300
Reply:you should do fine for less than $400 - depending on how many centerpieces you want. youre probably looking at around $300.
Reply:check out my website and we can set you up a pkg deal that would fit your needs. what are your colors? Best Wishes.
