Need ideas for my wedding reception. any ideas?

my invitation says "witness two hearts become one" i am thinking of having my reception surrounded in all hearts and flowers lik this http://www.balloonaticsevents.com/_web_p...

i have the reception ideas picked out and priced already. but i do not have any ideas on how my table centerpieces are going to be displayed. i like the idea of floating heart candles but i think that would be to plain. i want the centerpieces to be beautiful and to stand out. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

And CONGRATS!!! I WISH YOU A GRET MARRAIGE!!!
Reply:Get single champagne glasses to float the candles in. They don't have to match, even brandy snifters or wine glasses are cool. You can food color the water. You can also float single full blown roses. Instead of favors, tell the guests to take the glassware home. Not sure what your colors are. Our guests walked off with all of it. LOL

Lavender Roses would be gorgeous. You can also scatter rose petals and flattened marbles in silver and lavender. Run some lavender and silver ribbon crosswise over the table. We did ours in red ,silver and white. It's was kind of an eclectic look and very inexpensive, but the guests loved it and it was better than my niece's $200 each centerpieces.
Reply:Here are some ideas other than centerpieces....all hearts...you may like it.

Reply:I found these floating candles (sorry the link was incredibly long) just go to http://www.invitationsbydawn.com put in search "heart favors", it's the last one in row two. I also like the first link that Revelator gave you and the last one that GracieM gave you. I love your idea of the balloon decorations. I'm doing that in a pumpkin coach style for my cinderella themed wedding. Congrats on your marriage.

Reply:If you are artsy craftsy you could make gel candles with silver confetti hearts in the gel. Put the gel inside of one of those large straight vases and mix confetti hearts in ( don't forget the wick )and let set. Wrap the vase with lavender ribbon. You can find everything you'll need at an arts and crafts store. If not...check your reception site...they may have some centerpieces they offer that you can jazz up on your own.
Reply:a cool idea is to pick one color you both like, and then have EVERYTHING be that color, or black or white

it looks really cool. modern.

red or blue work best heh.
