Can you please help me know the sequence in a wedding reception?

i'll be the emcee/host of the wedding reception. i want to know the proper sequence when the entourage enters the reception hall. also if you know the wedding symbols in a reception (ex. cakes, flowers/bouquet, doves) or how it represents in the course of the wedding during the past (i.e., history or how did it started)?

Can you please help me know the sequence in a wedding reception?
When they enter you should first acknowledge the parents of both the groom and the bride. Then introduce each of the attendents: "This is Jane - the brides best friend since high school. This is Joe - the grooms friend from work." And so on. When you get to the best man %26amp; made of honor say just a bit more. Make sure everyone enters with the person that they walked with. Then you have everybody stand up as you introduce "Mr %26amp; Mrs Whoever!!!" Remember to keep the energy up and to have a good time. Good luck and have fun!
Reply:The wedding planner should be able to answer all those questions.

Note - the bride/groom enter last right after the best man/maid of honor.
Reply:Hello,

If you visit www.metrodjonline.com there is a wedding planner on the website. It gives you a sequence of events for your wedding click on the weddings tab and scroll to the bottom of the page is a document that says helpful hints for your wedding planner. There is also a wedding check list and a whole bunch of information to help plan your wedding! However let me state that in the 21st century really anything goes and the traditional wedding is actually nontraditional. It is up to you how you want your wedding reception to go!!
Reply:the way the walk down the aisle is the way they should be introduced
