Wedding Reception Decoration?

I am having my wedding reception in our backyard. It will be really pretty in the spring when all the flowers are blooming etc. I have one problem and wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. I am having about 50-60 guest and will rent white tables and chairs and place them on my grass area. The problem is half of our backyard is rock, we live in the desert in CA and this is common. I need to put chairs and tables on it and need to have ppl be able to walk on it. Any one have any ideas. someone mentioned turf but i dont think it will work because ppl have to walk on it. I have attached pictures and any responses would be great.

Wedding Reception Decoration?
I would put down those square cement pavers that are about 2'X2'. Lay them out in a path to the tables. You could even have them go all the way around the tables in a circle to accomodate the foot traffic. They only run a couple dollars each at Home Depot or Lowe's.
