About how much do REAL flower centerpices cost for a wedding reception?
It all depends on what types of flowers you want to use for your centerpieces.

Calla lilies, Orchids, and other speciality flowers are going to cost you more. It also depends on if the flower you want is in season or if it's around a holiday. I got married around Valentine's Day and it was not good in regards to flower costs. Everything nearly tripled, especially the roses for my bouquet.

Figure out what type of flowers you would like and then go from there. If you are on a budget I would stick with flowers like carnations and gerbera daisies. They are beautiful and affordable flowers.

Good luck!!! ♥
Reply:That depends on size. For 18 tables I will be making mine for $99. They are quite simple, yet they're pretty: short, square vases with five kiwi-centered pale pink gerbera daisies. I saw one like it with hot pink gerberas on the The Knot website and loved it =] I am getting my flowers from The Flower Exchange for $288 (1 bridal bouquet, 1 toss bouquet, 7 attendant bouquets, 4 long-stemed flowers, and 18 five-flower centerpieces).
Reply:It depends on the size, who your florist is, whether you do them yourself, and what flowers you are using.

We are paying $45 for centerpieces that are 7 inch in diameter and include ivory roses, green hydrangeas, chocolate artichokes, and fresh limes, whole and cut in them.
Reply:Totally depends upon the flowers you choose - for a mixed centerpiece, $30 and up - and it can go really high! Check FTD and Teleflora sites for examples.

Reply:It doesn't ALL depend on the size. It really depends on the types of flowers you use for the centerpiece. If you use really exotic flowers (like certain types of lillies), you'll be looking at something really expensive. Good luck and best wishes!
Reply:A medium centerpiece with your run of the mill flowers that are in season will run 40 to 60 dollars a piece. Like everyone else says you can do it for much cheaper or much more expensive as well..
Reply:It depends on how many centerpieces you need, what flowers you prefer (and if they're in season) and how large each centerpiece will be. The prices for florists range considerably.
