We are looking for ideas for things unique and/or elegant. We are already going to have select tables with an empire vase of flowers

You can fill up the vases and fill them with water, floating candles and flowers at the bottom with stones holding them down. I heard one idea was fill up the vases with water and put a fish, maybe a beta in each and at the end of the night, the kids can take them home.
Reply:I'm not sure if you're only looking for black + white centerpieces. That color scheme would look really fabulous with red!

(You could make see if there's a flower holder that's black to tie in your theme).

Reply:Red roses look vibrant added to a black and white theme.
Reply:Mix red with silver with the black and also red with the white.
Reply:B%26amp;W is so hot right now. I was at this event hosted by Mindy Weiss (celeb planner) and she said a lot of couple are doing B%26amp;W themes. I personally love blood red roses- it contrasts w/ the B%26amp;W, but does so beautifully. It can even be a small round vase and have short roses. Every color goes great w/ B%26amp;W but I really love jewel colors. U can also have small candles, like tea lights around the vase and some rose petals sprinkled around. Elegant.
Reply:When are you getting married. We are doing B%26amp;W also for our wedding in November. We are doing deep red hydreangas with orange for the fall. Breaks up the black and white. You should throw some red in there. Or if you don't want to go that route, there is the blakc and white marbles with water and floating candles very simple and yet elegante. Good luck and Congrats.
Reply:u can make small (personal) botlles of wine with ur names and date of wedding and share them to all ur guests
Reply:I like the idea of a black top hat filled with beautiful white silk flowers. It can be not only unique (memorable) but elegant. There are always the standards, like large white candles on black plates. I also like the fish centerpieces (you can look them up online) usualy it's a vase of some sort with a beta fish in them, but in this case you could put a couple of (black and white) smaller fish inside.
