Is it ok to have a candle centerpiece for your wedding reception instead of flowers?

And any other wedding reception advice?

Is it ok to have a candle centerpiece for your wedding reception instead of flowers?
Of course, as long as the reception site allows it, not all allow open flames, except tea lights. Plus, my sister, put a candle on a square glass clear dish, covered with colored sand,it looked very nice, I think it even had a small flower resting on the sand near the candle.
Reply:Your wedding is a special day for you. I feel that however the Bride wants to decorate is fine. This is the one day that you are suppose to be able to have things just the way you want them.
Reply:Yes as long as it is made nicely and looks like a centerpiece.
Reply:yes my sister did and she got married last year, its your wedding if u want it u get it
Reply:You can have any centerpiece you want! My friend had small fishbowls w/ Beta fish in them at her reception. People are more creative these days.
Reply:I had them. Anyway, You should do what ever makes you happy. Its your day!!
