Apple blossom as wedding flowers? (May time, UK)?

Could this work? Has anyone ever seen/can direct me to examples of wedding flowers based on apple blossom?

Wedding (reception, and possibly ceremony) will be in an orchard in late May time, so the apple trees should be in blossom. It would be nice to tie into this!

with some cream and pink to reddish ribbons that would be soooo pretty!!
Reply:Oh, how beautiful! I love apple blossoms... such delicate colors and fragrance. Might be tough to use only apple blossoms without other flowers, but I think they'd be available as feature flowers, and if necessary add some others to fill in. (Pink tulips? Pale pink roses? White stock?) Definitely check with the florist. Sorry I can't direct you to pix, but this is a fabulous idea.

Yes, yes, go for it! (Um, you might want to keep in mind a backup plan, just in case there is an unseasonable freeze in April. We had one here in Virginia in 2007, and all the spring blooming trees were kind of sad-looking.) Best wishes.
Reply:Beautiful! I've attached a picture. I think that's a fabulous idea.
Reply:I love the idea! Apple blossoms traditionally represent "good fortune."
