You could do a small topiary plant, or whatever bulb plant is in season. Its a little different from plain flowers, but still nice looking and inexpensive.

You could also go with a small sculpture, maybe of an angel or cherub? Again rather inexpensive.

I have also been to wedding where they used balloons. Not sure you would be interested in that route, but I thought I would mention it anyway - it was popular back in the early nineties.

Congrats with the wedding. I am sure no matter what you pick it will be wonderful. :)

I loooove how that looks and I hadn't seen anything like it anywhere else. I'll probably use flower petals instead of real flower though.
Reply:You could get little picture frames and fill them with picture of you and your soon to by hubby. Put a few on each table.
Reply:You could use different size boxes and stack them to resemble a wedding cake. You could paint them to match your colors and use minimal flowers to decorate as you would a cake. This is very inexpensive and different. Depending how artistic you are, the cakes can be painted like some of the extravagent wedding cakes that are decorated with fondant.
Reply:Try vanilla frosted cupcakes stacked on a pretty dessert tray.... decorate with the little candy silver balls ... that should be quite nice no need for favors use pink paper cups
Reply:Hi and congratulations!

I do have a few ideas...some are the same as what others have posted.

1. Get clear glass cylinder vases like:

And add pink glass "vase gems" or pink marbles.

2. You can do a stacking "favor" centerpiece, like this:

3. Simply get some inexpensive small plants (available at Home Depot and stores like that) and "wrap" them in a pink foil wrap.

4. Use these pink pails:

and grow some grass from seeds in them. Or you can buy "wheat grass" at various stores. Or, again, put a plant in them.

Good luck!
Reply:Large faux-feathers in vases are popular nowadays. Fruit such as apples or oranges. Candy, M%26amp;Ms, marbles or stones in vases or bowls are also options.
Reply:You could fill vases with colored marbles and pebbles. Depending on what your favors are, you can fill the vases with your favors. Or get Pink and white M%26amp;Ms and fill up vases or shallow bowls with them.
Reply:White pretty feathers. You can tie pink around them if you want to or get pink and white ones.
Reply:it depends on the season of your wedding.

spring/summer - fill different sized and shaped glass vases with fruits to match your colors. (limes, lemons, etc)

fall - fill vases with miniature pumpkins and squashes. obviously, your colors would need to be autumnal for this to work, or buy the white pumpkins %26amp; squashes.

winter - fill vases with silver or gold glass ornaments. along with the silver or gold, use a second color sparingly in each vase to add a pop of color. around the base of cluster of vases, use garland or some type of greenery to add a wintery, outdoorsy feeling.

Reply:get a tall vase.. fill with clear celophane paper all scrunched up and pour water in vase.. the celo will look like ice inside and then if you want to add a touch of pink you could always tint the water pink and then place little tea lites around the vase on the table to flicker lite on the fake ice.
Reply:I just was wondering the same thing myself when I got hit with a great idea that I am gonna use.

get clear plastic shoe boxes ,( you can get them at the container store wrap them in tissue paper get some pink( your wedding color) this will work great. and make the shoe box look like a present. and with the ivory color make ribbon around the box . leave the top off the box as you are gonna turn this upside down on the table and place a light in the underside of the box that has been wraped ... the whole box glows beautifully ( i was shocked )

you can buy click lamps at the dollar store they run on batteries this will light up the whole box with soft light and make the tissue paper glow...

next again at the dollar store or walmart buy tall vases about 12inches and place the vase on top of the shoe box that has been wraped. and place simple long stem flowers flowers , or long branches in snow crystals in the vase. ( go to hobby lobby or micheals ) and get willow branches... or find long twiggs about 2.5 to 3 feet. ( free )

20 plastic shoe boxes 20 bucks

tissue paper 2-3 dollars at the dollar store covers alot of boxes

click lights 1.00 per light dollar store

tall 12 inch vase 3.99 walmart

long super skinny sticks ....free....
